Hi friends! Fall is officially in full swing and we have LOTS to cover in the coming weeks/months here on Secret Mom Hacks.

As we look ahead to the holiday season with family gatherings around our dinner tables and cozy nights at home snuggled on the couch with the fireplace aglow, now is a great time to think about the feel and flow of our homes. With that in mind, today I have a special guest to help us get in that headspace.

I recently had the pleasure of talking with the incredible Patricia Lohan, the genius behind PowerHouse Feng Shui. [Click HERE to listen now!]

Strap in, because you're about to embark on a two-episode adventure filled with Patricia's top feng shui tips for busy moms.

For those of you who, like me, weren't exactly feng shui experts before this interview, let me give you a quick rundown. Patricia shares that feng shui is like acupuncture for your home. It's all about creating a healthy and vibrant space where energy flows freely.

I mean, who doesn't want a happy, healthy, and wealthy home, right? It's so much more than just furniture placement or minimalism, it's about aligning your home's energy with your life and goals.

Patricia shares her personal story of how she discovered feng shui's power. It was like a lightbulb moment for her. She noticed that when her family moved to a seemingly picture-perfect house, their lives started spiraling. But when they introduced feng shui into their lives, things changed. And Patricia's journey with feng shui started from there.

She describes feng shui as that missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle for so many of us. We can eat right, exercise, and do all the things to take care of ourselves, but if our home's energy isn't aligned, we'll still feel stuck. It's like an ongoing tug of war, and feng shui helps bring the balance.

In this week's episode Patricia also covers some common misconceptions about feng shui, plus variations and different schools of thought for the 5,000+ year practice.

From what Patricia shares, I gather that feng shui is a personal journey, just like finding the right acupuncturist. It seems that when you find the right match, it can be life-changing.

Our conversation was completely fascinating and Patricia's insight has left me itching to declutter and be more thoughtful about the nooks and crannies in our home.

I can't wait to dive into the second part of our interview next week to uncover even more feng shui tips for busy parents.
