Happy Monday, friends! Spring has sprung, which means it's time for Spring cleaning! Cleaning can be a daunting task, especially with kiddos running around. Since our family is busy tackling Spring cleaning projects, I thought we'd round up a few helpful tips that will help you tackle your cleaning tasks with ease - and maybe even have some fun along the way!

Get the kids involved
Getting the kids to help out around the house can be a challenge, but Spring cleaning is the perfect opportunity to get them involved. Assign age-appropriate tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, or organizing their toys. You can even make it into a game by setting a timer and seeing who can clean the fastest. Not only will kids learn valuable skills, but you'll also get some extra help with your cleaning tasks.

Start with the clutter
Is it just me or does clutter seems to accumulate out of nowhere?! Before picking up the broom and dustpan, tackle the clutter first. Go through your kids' toys, clothes, and books and decide what to keep, donate, or throw away. This will not only make your cleaning tasks easier, but will also create more space in your home.

Don't forget the nooks and crannies
When it comes to cleaning, it's easy to overlook the nooks and crannies of your home. Make sure to clean areas like baseboards, light fixtures, and window sills. You can even use a toothbrush to clean small areas that are hard to reach. Cleaning these areas will not only make your home look cleaner but will also improve the air quality in your home.

Take breaks and reward yourself
Spring cleaning can be a lot of work, so it's important to take breaks when you need them. Set a timer for 30 minutes and take a break once the timer goes off. During your break, do something you enjoy, like reading a book or going for a walk. And don't forget to reward yourself once your cleaning tasks are complete. Treat yourself to a massage or a manicure, you deserve it!

Bonus Tip: Hire a professional
If you're feeling overwhelmed or simply don't have the time to tackle your Spring cleaning tasks, consider hiring a professional cleaning service. A professional cleaning service can help you deep clean your home and give you more time to focus on your family and other responsibilities. Plus, they have the experience and tools needed to make your home sparkle and shine. Not sure who to call? Try an app like Takl or TaskRabbit for local service providers near you. If your neighborhood has a Facebook group or is on an app like NextDoor, those are great places to find cleaning service referrals too.

I'm in the process of tackling our garage, office, and master bedroom. Wish me luck!🤪 Stopping every 30 minutes or so to grab a drink of water or work on another small task has helped to break up the time and keep me motivated. Definitely makes it feel a little less daunting.

Are you Spring cleaning? I hope these tips are helpful for you too. Happy Spring y'all!
